“Prime Rally Team” is the name of the winner team of the first stage of the Ukrainian Rally Prime-Championship “Old Fortress”, that has finished on the 4th May in Kamyanets-Podilsk. TM “Prime” was the general sponsor of the event.

Igor Kustovskiy, the TM “Prime” brand-manager, notes: “We are happy the team we support has become the winner. The year 2007 champions, Alexandr Salyuk and Adrian Aftanaziv handled all the route obstacles and the difficult weather conditions. We are happy to note that a record number of teams took part in the race – there were 43 of them. The best sportsmen from Ukraine, Russia and Baltic countries were among them. This proves that the interest in motor racing grows and that more and more sportsmen train and prepare themselves to participate in the Ukrainian Rally Prime-Championship. Therefore, TM “Prime” continues to gather the best of the best. And it traditionally supports the most significant and resonant sports events”.

Thousands of people came to the city central street to welcome their favorites in the tense and exciting struggle. This year the racing appeared to be super extreme. The originally difficult route was washed by the rain, and the sportsmen needed enormous efforts, skills and fortitude. Only 19 teams managed to reach the finish. The spectators witnessed the outstanding race. It was hard to foretell the winner until the last part of the route which appeared to be crucial for the leaders. The yellow Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IX with the name of “Prime” on its sides became the best of the best.

The motor racing Prime-championship of Ukraine continues. Therefore, a lot of bright and exciting events of the most prestigious and gaming race of the country are yet to come. “Chumatskyi Shlyakh”, the second stage of the championship, will start in Kherson at the end of May.

It takes place from April to November in different cities of Ukraine: Mariupol, Kamyenets-Podolsk, Kherson, Yalta, Donetsk. The best teams from Ukraine and CIS countries participate in it. This racing has become one of the most significant motor sports events.
