4 April 2008 the first Ukrainian Vodka Museum was inaugurated at the distillery "PRIME". The exhibition consists of different vodka glasses, unique hand-made carafes, hootch stills, modern and old bottles, souvenir badges, saucers, the label-making machine, etc. More than 100 exhibits from Ukraine and CIS countries show the history of production and consumption of this traditional Slavic beverage.
Till now, the only museum of vodka history existed in Russia. A great advantage of the Ukrainian museum is that it is situated at the distillery. Therefore, you have a unique possibility to learn the history of vodka production and to see the way it is produced nowadays at “PRIME”, the best distillery in Europe.
The vodka museum opening is a part of the programme aimed at forming strong alcohol beverages consumption culture in Ukraine. This programme is carried out by the “PRIME” distillery since its inauguration. The programme also presupposes:
